ARCHITECTURE AND INTERIOR DESIGN PROJECTS
Luca Sgroi and his studio have been developing restoration and architecture projects since 1987, being careful in respecting the places in which space and time have defined a specific historical identity.
It is, therefore, an approach which is respectful of tradition and of its history, but also aimed at underlining the contemporary quality of the object of the design.
The interior design team, led by Francesca Bocchini, designs every home, every place having the customer’s needs as a reference so that each project mirrors the personality of those who will live or use the environment that has been created.
They design custom tailored interiors both for companies and for individuals and installations for events, fairs and showrooms.
PRIVATE VILLA IN ZANTE - GREECE
The Villa has a mainly horizontal development along the line of maximum slope, creating a play of terraces, views, pergolas, platforms and pools.
PRIVATE VILLA IN SARDEGNA
Restyling of a private Villa in Porto Rotondo in Sardegna. The design recalls the materials and the shapes of the traditional architecture of the region, giving a sculptural quality and warmth to the spaces.
LOFT APARTMENT IN BARI
Apartment in the heart of Bari. A modern space on two levels, in which the interior architecture project and interior décor give value to the big spaces, to create a loft that balances areas with a more open quality with private and cozy corners, while still maintaining fluidity between the different zones of the house.
EXHIBITION SPACE BUDRI MARMI
Project for an exhibition space in which the marble pieces and the spaces have been designed to satisfy the requirements of the client and the function of the display.
PRIVATE VILLA IN PAXOS - GREECE
Paths, views, open spaces and intimate settings are the guidelines in the design of this villa. The design has an horizontal development and is characterized by a play of architectural solids and voids where the scenery with its typical Mediterranean maquis is the undisputed protagonist.
APARTMENT RESTYLING IN BARI
Interior architecture and interior décor project for an apartment in Bari. The project operated firstly in solving the entryway-living room-corridor junction, to define and separate these spaces.
FINROSS OFFICES IN BOLOGNA
It has been a true honor to work in a historic building in the Bologna city center, even more so if the spaces have been thought out with attention to every detail. Contrasts of colors, materials research, paintings, appliques, wallpapers are some of the elements that characterize the design of these spaces.
VELONA'S JUNGLE LUXURY GUESTHOUSE IN FLORENCE
An oasis of elegance and exoticism in the historic city center of Florence, within walking distance from the Leopolda train station and from the new opera house, a project that has given birth to a luxury guest house reinterpreting the spirit of the building, constructed in the early fifties, with eclecticism and irony.
VILLA MARTINI HOTEL IN CASTIGLIONCELLO
The sixties rediscovered, renewed with a minimal fresh and sunny style. Two restored villas on the hill of Castiglioncello form the hotel, and are surrounded by gardens and pools. An expansion of the interior and exterior project, with respect for the location and its peculiar values.
FELSINA WINERY IN CASTELNUOVO BERARDENGA
A place designed in the Tuscan hills. Where nature and viticulture meet to give birth to a company with a full and special flavor like the wines it produces. The company reflects the surrounding area with the intelligent use of natural and raw materials like wood and stone with soft and relaxing tones that make up both the interior and the exterior.
Villa Giuly in Treviso
A villa designed in the Treviso inland where the silence of the surrounding nature reigns. A house in which the balance between the interior and the exterior spaces is well expressed by modern and simple furniture adorned with textile games with relaxing tones and special textures.
TECHNOGYM FOUNDATION IN CESENA
Technogym Foundation in Cesena Designed on the Cesena hillside, where one can admire a natural landscape and enjoy moments of peace and relaxation surrounded by vegetation. A villa with a classic and elegant look, characterized by rich and unique finishes and decorations.
VILLA ANTONISA IN CORTINA D’AMPEZZO
A place designed to recreate the idea of the mountains abandoning the decorative elements of tradition but aiming for the essence of things, for materials, for scents, for simple lines of furnishings built with skillful craftsmanship.
VILLA CHIANDRE IN CARPI
A Villa planned in the magical ambiance of Emilia’s countryside. The different natural and distinctive elements of the area like fog, water, canals, dewatering pumps, are recalled and expressed with harmony in the garden, in the restoration of the house and in the defining of the interior spaces.
ARTIST’S HOME IN PALMA DI MAIORCA
Outside everything has remained as it was, while inside the charm of the past has been redeemed by a contemporary perspective oriented to subtraction. These are the words of a famous artist, owner of this “finca” immersed in the sunlight of a Mediterranean garden.
